Plant Dieta At Matte De Luz
Plant diets are a great way to work more deeply with a specific healing consideration or to learn more about the teachers in the Shipbo Lineage, the Sacred Master Plants of the Jungle, all of whom have a voice. Every Plant sacred to the Shipibo has its own spirit (dueno), Song (Icaro) Gift and lesson. There are plant Dietas for healing and plant Dietas for learning and any plant dieta can be opened for either healing or learning. To ask a Maestro such as Maestro Gaspar for a plant dieta here at Matte de luz is a deeply sacred and ancestral process that is guided by the lineage of his ancestors and all that has been passed down from generation to generation. Every Maestro has the way in which he shares a dieta as this was taught to him by the plant that he dieted, it is a transmission of wisdom and deeply rooted in his own personal relationship with the plant that you are called to diet.

A Plant Diet whether for healing or learning is not determined by the wishes of the individual, it is decided by the plants themselves, by Ayahuasca Herself, both of whom are in communication with the Maestro who is offering the Plant Diet. Every plant diet has its rules that have been learnt and passed down through the Shipibo Lineage and from this we will never deviate for any reason. Every diet is different and has different rules which must be adhered to whether for healing or for learning. This Knowledge is shared with each person before they start their Plant diet so that the diet can be completed correctly and in accordance to our lineage. The person dieting is responsible to complete the diet and the Maestro is responsible to open, guide and close the diet.
What the participant must understand before asking for a dieta is that the plants of the jungle are our friends, this relationship was birthed through entering into the Plant Diet with the right mindset. We are Shipibo and so this mindset is natural for us, we respect our plant friends and their voice by taking time to listen to them in many different ways that are naturally shown during any diet. Our part as potential dieters is to enter into the diet in the right way and this will be shared with you in a video call before you come for a Plant Diet and also by the Maestro who opens the Diet.
